Globalization affects the daily life each passing day. Energy consumption has been amoung the leading topics among them. In this study, it is investigated the relationship between globalization and energy consumption in the case of Turkey over the period 1970-2012. The empirical results show that there is a long run relationship between globalization and energy consumption.
Küreselleşme her geçen gün hayatın bütününü etkilemektedir. Enerji tüketimi bu konuların başında gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye örnekleminde 1970-2012 verilerinden hareketle küreselleşme ve enerji tüketim ilişkisi incelenmiştir. Ampirik bulgular, küreselleşme ve enerji tüketimi arasında uzun dönemli ilişki olduğunu göstermektedir.
