ABSTRACT
The plant passport system is one of the preconditions of entries to the EU market who intenting export, import trades. This system has started on 01.03.2012. According to this system and its regulations, the producers of seed, seedlings, young plants and the people who trade and storage of these products should have been registered the system and folowed the rules. The main aim of these regulation is, monitoring of domestic movements of the products, upon discovering the source of any harmful organism to take the necessary measures in time. Besides these system would have shown all steps and process on the certificate of registration to the second and third parties for each products. Also It has been expecting to increase the competitiveness level of the Turkish agricultural products trades between Turkey and EU markets showing all production steps. The main objectives of this study are to provide the whole necessary information to the second and third parties about the system and which products should have registered to the system and which products should have and carry the plant passport.
