Abstract

Social network analysis is a method used to uncover the relationships between elements in a community. Like people, words can be members of a community and contain meaningful information when they come together. In this study, we examine the semantic similarities of keywords used in associate professorship applications, as determined by the Council of Higher Education. The distances between words and phrases were calculated using artificial intelligence techniques and visualized on a network. With this study, it was possible to analyze the suitability of the communities formed by keywords in creating interdisciplinary working groups.
