Abstract

The low and high temperature bromination reaction of tetrachlorobenzobarrelene was studied and the possible role of a neighboring group in rearrangements was investigated. New polyhalogenated benzobicyclic compounds were synthesized. All compounds were characterized properly using NMR spectroscopy. © TÜBİTAK.
