Özet

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Elementary School Teacher Education Undergraduate Program implemented for 2018-2019 academic year in terms of multicultural education. For this purpose, the course intensities were determined in the Classroom Teaching program and the content area knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and general culture courses and the course contents (catalog descriptions) were examined in terms of multicultural education concepts. Within the scope of the research, it is concluded that there is no special course for multicultural education in the Classroom Teaching program, but concepts related to multiculturalism and multicultural education are included in the content of some courses. Suggestions were made according to the results of the research.
